UNH Extension Pesticide Safety Education Program

PSEP

We offer training for initial certification and for commercial supervisory level certificates. These trainings will help you prepare for your applicator exam and help you become a safe and efficient applicator.

Pesticide Safety Initial Certification Training

We offer trainings to prepare prospective applicators for the private and commercial applicator certification exams at the operational level. Please note that this course does not satisfy the requirements for applicators looking to get certified as Supervisory Registration Certification - General Use Applicators.

Attendance at an initial certification training class is not required for certification at the operational level. However, it does help direct the studying.

Instructors will provide a review of the information found in the National Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual, NH Code of Administrative Rules, and the Worker Protection Standard for Agricultural Pesticides. Private applicator testing will be held the last day of training at each location.

Supervisory Registration Certification – General Use Training for Commercial Applicators

UNH Cooperative Extension offers hands-on, face-to-face workshops on Pesticide Safety and Category Specific topics are offered twice a year in the Concord, NH area.

Workshops are 8 hours in length.
