Oregon Month-to-Month Rental Agreement

An Oregon month-to-month rental agreement is a binding legal document setting an ongoing lease arrangement that remains effective indefinitely until either the landlord or tenant provides notice to terminate it.

Despite the absence of a fixed termination date, both landlord and tenant are legally bound to comply with Oregon’s landlord-tenant regulations as outlined in Title 10, Chapter 90. Before entering into a lease agreement, landlords are advised to authenticate the tenant’s employment and financial stability through a rental application process.

Minimum Termination Period: 30 days.

Governing Law: § 91.070.
